The museum has a fine collection of microphones from the very earliest all the way through modern examples.
When you visit the museum step in to the broadcast room to see the 50’s vintage “Disk-Jockie’s” studio, a 5000 watt water cooled AM transmitter from 1936, and our collection of TV cameras including the first color TV camera in West Virginia.
There is also a working studio associated with the auditorium. The museum has broadcast our annual WV Broadcasters Hall of Fame with the assistance of this studio.
