The museum has a ham shack with 13 operating stations. Did you ever want to compare a Drake System to a Collins S-Line station? We have them sitting side by side for a visitor with an appropriate Amateur Radio License to operate.
We have an active ARRL group / TARA. There are field days several times a year where the public is invited to get involved with emergency preparedness.
They have monthly meetings at the museum.
They provide VE testing several times a year.
Hammarlund to HeathKit, Collins to National, the Museum of Radio and Technology has a broad collection of “Boat Anchors” dating back to the late 1940’s on through the 50’s and 60’s.
